LMS Transition in Higher Education

Many universities reassess their learning platforms when faculty adoption becomes uneven and daily teaching workflows feel heavy. Institutions are increasingly choosing Canvas LMS for its ease of use, consistent experience, and ability to support teaching without added complexity.

The University of Tampa has switched from Blackboard to Canvas as they find Blackboard to be less customizable, and the interface is out of date compared to other LMS’s. Canvas was ranked favourably by both the Faculty at 78% and the Students at 89%. Students reported being 66% satisfied with Instructor use of Canvas.
